CEO Allison Furlong comments,
“We were genuinely surprised and deeply honoured to receive this award. Sharing the evening with other incredible nominees highlighted the huge, and compassionate community working tirelessly to support those in need across Liverpool.”
The ceremony, held at the Isla Gladstone Conservatory in Stanley Park, celebrated individuals and organisations making significant impacts in their communities. The Be Free Campaign commended Alfie’s Squad for our dedication to transforming mental health support and breaking down stigma, while offering support to children, and their families, who have been bereaved by suicide.
This recognition fuels our passion to continue providing a safe space for bereaved children and young people, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and supported.
